Ah, it’s a joy when you get a piece of code to work.  And the gallery2-wordpress bridge worked flawlessly.  Though it would be nice to fill this gallery up with pics, well I still have my bandwidth limit and limited space allocated on the server.

So I guess I should start editing my pics.  Problem is, I already have a lot of image files backed up to dvds which have never been post processed.  You could say that is my weakness.  It’s fun to take pictures, but I get lazy afterwards.  Even sorting them out is a tedious task.  Never even bothered renaming them or tagging them.

I guess, I should prioritize it, that’s the only way about it…..

Birth of a new blog…. or simply a successful wordpress install.

I previously installed drupal on this url and just had fun doodling with the settings.  There were really a lot of things that you could do with drupal, but it’s really more than what I need to make a blog.

I’ve asked myself, why go to the trouble of making a new blog when there are already several services that offer this for free?

1. Well, installing wordpress was a learning experience, though it wasn’t much since it was so easy.
2. Boredom I suppose…
3. Oh yeah, freedom and total control of the site
4. I just wanted a wordpress site I could call my own

Next thing I want to do is integrate a photo gallery for this blog and I’d probably be happy and content.
